A SHORT FILM DAYS
A weekend dedicated to cinematic exploration in art. Featuring an exhibition of visual experimentation in one of Italy’s most beautiful villages, nestled in the valley of ancient rock engravings.
A MEDIEVAL VILLAGE
Bienno is home to a community of artists and artisans, blending history, tradition, and creativity in its picturesque streets and workshops. Valcamonica, is also famous for its ancient rock engravings, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Bienno BorgoVisioni selects an artist in residence each year, covering their food and accommodation expenses for 15 days in Bienno. During this time, the artist has the opportunity to create their own short film.
MASTERCLASS
Meetings with authors and experts for the event’s audience and dedicated sessions for schools to explore the language of short films.
PERFORMANCE
During the opening of the experimental cinema exhibition, we support musical and performance artists with live shows, paired with tastings of artisanal products to immerse in the unique atmosphere of Bienno.
VIDEOART EXHIBITION
An exhibition set up with monitors and projectors in the charming Palazzo Simonini, designed to explore the languages of contemporary audiovisual art.
SCREENINGS
As night falls, the screenings begin. After each short film, there is a 10-15 minute discussion with the filmmakers when present or via video, followed by a conversation with the audience.
